Since tirzepatide is made up of two gastrointestinal incretin hormones (GLP-1 + GIP), it has less side affects than semaglutide.

Among side effects, nausea and diarrhea were most frequent at any dose of tirzepatide. Other side effects can include: acide/sour stomach, constipation, stomach discomfort and drowsiness. The most discomfort from side effects occurs at the highest doses. This is important to keep in mind when on the tirzepatide program. It is recommended to check in with your myfastweightloss health provider before moving up to a stronger dose. If you are losing weight and feeling comfortable, then moving up to a stronger dose is not always necessary nor recommended.
